Logistics - Hotel

We have selected the San Francisco Omni as the venue for the 2007 Konkani Youth Convention. It is located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. It is right on the cable car line, and a short walk to Union Square where you can find some of the nicest shopping San Francisco has to offer as well as many other attractions. It is also close to the San Francisco Ferry Building, Chinatown and North Beach. Being in the heart of San Francisco we will be able to make the most of our time together and show you everything that San Francisco has to offer.

We have negotiated a rate of $170 a night for the Hotel. While this may seem expensive, for San Francisco it is very competitive, and it is on par with the previous Youth Conventions. We have reserved a block of rooms, and it is critical that you book your rooms as soon as possible to ensure you get the discounted rate. Once those rooms are fully booked you will be charged the standard room rate at the Omni which can be as much as $350 a night.
